Zen meditation

Zen is a form of meditation or mindfulness originated in the Budhist faith. During sitting meditation, practitioners usually assume a position such as the lotus position or sitting crossed legged, and awareness is directed towards the breath. This technique can be used with clients who tend towards anxiety and/or overwhelm. It can be practised daily and is very effective in moderating certain unresourceful behaviours.
